Giovanni Giudici

Giovanni Giudici (26 June 1924, Le Grazie - 24 March 2011, La Spezia) was an Italian poet and journalist.
== Life ==

Giovanni Giudici spends his childhood in Le Grazie, where his mother gives him a strict catholic education; her death (occurred on 8th November 1927) hurls Giovanni down to an "abyss of deprivation".
After just one year his father marries another woman and the family moves to Cadimare.
The years between 1927 and 1935 are particularly hard since Giovanni is forced to move several times from town to town because of his father's work.
He finally settles in Monte Sacro, where he attends the local high school.
In 1941 he enrolls at university to study medicine, but he is fascinated by literature and he often attends Italian literature classes at the Faculty of Humanities ("Facoltà di Lettere").
In 1942 he decides to quit studying medicine and he enrolls at the Faculty of Humanities.
He dies in 2011
